No bereavement line that we could find

We looked for a bereavement contact for WhatsApp and could not find one. As far as we know, they don't have one. So here is their general customer contact instead. When you get through, say you are contacting them about someone who has passed away, and ask to be put through to the right team.

Before you get in touch

WhatsApp does not publish a bereavement process. Accounts are usually deleted after 120 days without use. Messages stored on the phone stay there until WhatsApp is removed from it.

Checked on 27 September 2026 against WhatsApp's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.
