A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Before you get in touch

If the person who passed away had a TUI holiday or flight booked, call TUI's holidays and flights team. Have the booking reference and travel dates ready. Cancellation fees may apply, so check any travel insurance. If someone passes away while away, TUI can change flights for those with them.
