Before you get in touch

If the person who passed away got a War Pension or payments from the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, call the Ministry of Defence bereavement line. Depending on how and when they passed away, you may be able to claim help with funeral costs or a War Widow(er)'s Pension. If they only had an armed forces pension, contact Equiniti instead.
