No bereavement line that we could find

We looked for a bereavement contact for Microsoft and could not find one. As far as we know, they don't have one. So here is their general customer contact instead. When you get through, say you are contacting them about someone who has passed away, and ask to be put through to the right team.

Before you get in touch

Microsoft says you do not need to tell it about a death. If you know the sign-in details, you can close the account yourself. If not, Outlook and OneDrive are frozen after a year without use, and the files are deleted soon after. To stop Microsoft subscriptions, cancel the bank card they are paid from.
