The letter

Before you get in touch

You tell Kraken through an online claim form, and their compliance team takes it from there. You'll need a colour image of the official death certificate, probate or letters of administration, and photo ID for the person handling the estate. They also ask for a signed, dated letter confirming the death. Certificates from funeral homes are not accepted.

Checked on 27 September 2026 against Kraken's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.
