We looked for a bereavement contact for HM Land Registry and could not find one. As far as we know, they don't have one. So here is their general customer contact instead. Before you get in touch

There is no phone line, and changes are made by post. When a joint owner passes away, send form DJP with an official copy of the death certificate. When a sole owner passes away, the executor sends form AP1 or AS1 with the probate papers, or a solicitor can do it. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own systems.
