The letter

Before you get in touch

The executor, or a solicitor, can tell Chip by email. Include the person's full name and the email and phone number on their Chip account. You'll need a copy of the death certificate, plus ID and proof of address for the executor. If everything they held is over £10,000, they will ask for probate or letters of administration.
