The letter

Before you get in touch

Revolut handles bereavement by email, so there is no phone line. Send the person's full name, date of birth and the phone number or email on their account. They will ask for your ID, the death certificate and later a signed bereavement form. The account is frozen once they have what they need. They aim to reply within 15 days.

Other banks

Most of the time this takes goes on working out what the person had and who to call. When you are ready, Inherit Vault is where you can write that down for your own family, kept private until it is needed.
