A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

If you use the Death Notification Service, you do not need to send Chase a death certificate. Otherwise post a copy to Bereavement Team, Chase UK, PO Box 17507, Edinburgh, EH12 1PX.
