Before you get in touch

If you think the person had a pension but can't find the paperwork, this government service can help. You'll need the name of an employer or pension provider. It gives you the scheme's contact details, then you ask the scheme. It can't tell you if a pension exists or what it's worth. You can search someone else's scheme with permission.
