Before you get in touch

Gretel is a free online service that looks for lost bank accounts, pensions and investments. Executors and others with the legal right to act can search for someone who has passed away. Once you sign up, it keeps looking and tells you when it finds more accounts.

Checked on 27 September 2026 against Gretel's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.
