Before you get in touch

This free service looks for old, dormant bank and building society accounts, and NS&I products. Contact the person's known banks first, as their accounts may not count as lost. Then use this service to find accounts untouched for a long time, often 15 years or more. It works alongside the Death Notification Service, which only covers active accounts.

Checked on 27 September 2026 against My Lost Account's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.
