A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Before you get in touch

Spotify has no phone support or bereavement process. Sign in and cancel from Manage your plan, or message their support team. If there is no option to change the plan, a phone or internet company bills it, so cancel with them.

Checked on 27 September 2026 against Spotify's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.

Other streaming and subscriptions

Most of the time this takes goes on working out what the person had and who to call. When you are ready, Inherit Vault is where you can write that down for your own family, kept private until it is needed.
