Before you get in touch

Different insurers provide Post Office life cover, depending on when the policy was bought. Check the start date on the policy schedule, then call the right number. They'll ask for the policy number and claim details. The person claiming will need to send original documents showing they are due the money. A Funeral Benefit Option has its own line.
