A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

The letter

Before you get in touch

You can tell OneFamily with their online form, by phone, or by email. The form covers all their products, including Over 50s Life Cover, ISAs, Junior ISAs and Child Trust Funds. Have the person's name, address, date of birth and any policy number. They may ask for the death certificate, the will or probate, and a claim form.
