A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Before you get in touch

You can tell Hyde using their online form. If you can't upload the death certificate there, their team can arrange another way to send it. You can also call their freephone number for help.
