A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Amplius is a new name for what used to be Grand Union and Longhurst Group. If your relative's home is with one of these, their contact page directs you to those legacy sites for now. You can call Amplius to be pointed the right way.

Checked on 29 September 2026 against Amplius's own page. Numbers do change now and then, so if one doesn't work, their page is the best place to look.
