How Inherit Vault does it differently

Most legacy vaults are a folder with a password on it. Inherit Vault locks everything on your own device before it reaches us. We never hold a readable copy, and we could not open your vault if we were ordered to. While you are alive we check in with you now and then. When the time comes, your executor proves it with a death certificate. Then there is a 14 day wait, so a false claim can be challenged. They open the vault with the Recovery Certificate you left with your will. Anyone you named is told the vault has been opened, so nobody is left in the dark.
