A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

A free service set up by UK banks and building societies. It tells many of them at once.

Before you get in touch

You can call The Exeter to tell them about a life insurance or terminal illness claim. Their team will ask for the member's contact details and details of the life covered, and will guide you through registering the claim.
