We looked for a bereavement contact for Scottish Water and could not find one. As far as we know, they don't have one. So here is their general customer contact instead. When you get through, say you are contacting them about someone who has passed away, and ask to be put through to the right team.

Before you get in touch

In Scotland, most homes pay for water through the council tax bill, not to Scottish Water. So when you tell the local council about the death, that covers the water charges too. Any council tax discount or exemption after the death also applies to the water charges. You only need Scottish Water if the home had a water meter.
