Before you get in touch

This is their general line, used for bereavement questions. To register the death, send an official death certificate with their signed bereavement form, by email, post or at a branch. Money can be released for the funeral, Inheritance Tax and probate costs.

Other building societies and savings

Most of the time this takes goes on working out what the person had and who to call. When you are ready, Inherit Vault is where you can write that down for your own family, kept private until it is needed.
