A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Before you get in touch

You can call Plan International UK's supporter care team to tell them about the person who passed away. They can help with a gift in memory or a gift left in a will, and change how they keep in touch with the family.
