Before you get in touch

There is no bereavement phone line. Claim online, without needing an NS&I account, or ask for a paper form. Claims are taking about eight weeks. Premium Bonds can stay in the prize draw for 12 months after the death.

Other building societies and savings

Most of the time this takes goes on working out what the person had and who to call. When you are ready, Inherit Vault is where you can write that down for your own family, kept private until it is needed.
