Before you get in touch

Homes in Northern Ireland don't pay water charges right now. So there is usually no water account to close. The person may have had a farm, a business or other property with a water bill. If so, contact NI Water's Waterline. They will tell you what to do.

Other water

Most of the time this takes goes on working out what the person had and who to call. When you are ready, Inherit Vault is where you can write that down for your own family, kept private until it is needed.
