A free GOV.UK service. It tells most government departments at once, including HMRC, DWP, DVLA, the Passport Office and the council. Use the reference number the registrar gives you.

Before you get in touch

Child Bereavement UK offers free support if you're grieving, or supporting a child who is. You can call, text, WhatsApp or email a bereavement specialist, or use their live chat. There's no need to book, and no long wait. They're there Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, whenever you need to talk.
