Before you get in touch

You can tell the pension fund by phone or email. A lump sum death grant is often payable, and a pension for a spouse, civil partner or eligible cohabiting partner can continue for their lifetime, with a pension for eligible children too. It helps to fill in a death grant nomination form in advance if you haven't already.
